And always make sure that the moisturizer you choose is appropriate to your skin type since they moisturizers for oily, dry or combination skin.

3. Try to avoid makeup

Also, if it’s possible, use oil-free cosmetics without added chemicals and dyes. Choose a makeup labelled with “non comedogenic”, which means it shouldn’t cause pimples. Make sure that you read the ingredients before buying any product.

4. Keep your hands from your face

One way to prevent acne is to avoid touching your face with your hands. This also includes propping your chin or cheeks on your hands. By constantly touching your face can only spread bacteria and irritate an already inflamed skin. It is also not advisable to pop your zit with your fingers because it can lead to infection and scarring.

5. Stay out of sunlight

Ultraviolet rays from the sun is a sure fire way of increasing inflammation and redness of your skin. And there are many acne medications can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. So it would be best to limit your time in the sun, especially during 10 in the morning until two in the afternoon.
